Isaac Netero
The 12th Chairman of the Hunter Association and mankind's strongest Nen user. His 100-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva could strike tens of thousands of times in a single minute through prayer. Even at over 100 years old, he trained his body to produce aura output that surprised Meruem himself. While he ultimately lost to the King, he executed the Poor Man's Rose plan that killed the most powerful being in HxH.
Chrollo Lucilfer
The leader of the Phantom Troupe with the Specialist ability Bandit's Secret, which allows him to steal and use any Nen ability. His battle against Hisoka in Heaven's Arena demonstrated his strategic genius by combining multiple stolen abilities — Order Stamp, Gallery Fake, Sun and Moon, and Book of the Giant — in devastating synergy. Chrollo defeated Hisoka without taking a single hit.
Gon Freecss
The young prodigy whose untapped potential rivals the series' strongest. His self-imposed vow against Neferpitou transformed him into an adult form with power surpassing the Royal Guards, killing Pitou in a single blow. This transformation came at the ultimate cost of his Nen ability. As a natural Enhancer, his raw ceiling may be higher than any other character's.
Neferpitou
The first Royal Guard born and the most loyal to the King. Pitou's En spanned over 1,000 meters with a malignant quality that paralyzed even Kite. Doctor Blythe can perform microscopic brain surgery, and Terpsichora boosts combat speed beyond what experienced Hunters can track. Pitou's combination of support and combat abilities makes them the most versatile Royal Guard.
Killua Zoldyck
The heir of the Zoldyck family and one of the few characters who mastered advanced Nen techniques rapidly. His Godspeed ability (Kanmuru) combines Transmutation and Enhancement to move at near-instantaneous reaction speeds, allowing him to defeat Chimera Ant officers effortlessly. His assassination training since birth gives him tactical superiority in most combat scenarios.
Hisoka Morow
A Transmuter whose Bungee Gum combines rubber and gum properties, making it one of the most versatile Nen abilities. His combat intelligence and obsession with strong opponents drive him to evolve constantly. Post-mortem Nen allowed his heart and lungs to restart after Chrollo killed him in Heaven's Arena, demonstrating his willpower.
Kurapika
The last Kurta clan survivor whose Scarlet Eyes unlock Specialist abilities alongside his natural Conjuration. Emperor Time grants 100% proficiency in all Nen categories simultaneously. Judgment Chain enforces Nen contracts on Phantom Troupe members, making him a direct counter to some of the most dangerous criminals alive. His chain abilities are conditional but devastating.
Shaiapouf
The second Royal Guard and the most intelligent strategist of the three. His Manipulation ability Beelzebub allows him to split into millions of microscopic scales that can control others. Spiritual Message manipulates anyone who inhales his scales. Pouf's intellect makes him dangerous beyond raw power, as he orchestrated complex schemes to protect the King's vision.
Silva Zoldyck
The current head of the Zoldyck family and one of the most feared assassins in the world. As a Transmuter, he launches devastating aura orbs that can kill Chimera Ant squadrons in a single hit. He was entrusted with the assassination of Chrollo Lucilfer by the Ten Dons, confirming his power is considered Troupe-leader level.
Zeno Zoldyck
The elder Zoldyck patriarch whose Dragon Dive rains aura projectiles over an entire battlefield. His Dragon Head ability was powerful enough to threaten Chrollo during their encounter. With over 50 years of assassination experience and near-limitless Nen reserves as a master Transmuter, Zeno's skill and cunning make him a living legend among Hunters.
Kite
A Conjurer and one of Ging Freecss's students who wields Crazy Slots, a weapon that randomly summons one of five numbered weapons each with unique abilities. His experience and leadership of the Chimera Ant extermination team demonstrate high-level Nen proficiency. Kite trained directly under Ging and later became a mentor figure to Gon.
Feitan Portor
The Phantom Troupe's torturer whose Transmutation ability Pain Packer converts damage into devastating counterattacks. His Rising Sun creates an artificial sun that incinerates everything in its radius, melting the ground and boiling the air. The more damage Feitan absorbs, the more destructive his retaliation becomes.
Biscuit Krueger
A master Transmuter who appears as a young girl but is actually a 57-year-old expert. She trained Gon and Killua in Greed Island, perfecting their Gyo, Ken, and Ko techniques. Her Nen analysis skills make her one of the most knowledgeable characters. Biscuit's combat experience and mastery of Nen fundamentals make her a formidable opponent.
Illumi Zoldyck
The eldest Zoldyck son whose Manipulation ability controls others by implanting needles. He can alter his own appearance at will and placed needles in Killua's head to suppress his emotions and control his behavior. Illumi's cold analytical nature makes him terrifying in psychological warfare, and he passed the Hunter Exam effortlessly.
Machi Komachine
The Phantom Troupe member whose Transmutation Nen creates unbreakable threads strong enough to restrain high-level opponents. She reattached Hisoka's severed arms and later stitched his corpse. Her threads can sense vibrations over long distances, making her an exceptional tracker.
Pariston Hill
The Vice Chairman of the Hunter Association whose true Nen ability remains unknown. His political manipulation and strategic genius make him a threat on a global scale. Pariston deliberately creates chaos and enjoys watching opponents struggle to adapt to his schemes. Ging Freecss considers him one of the most dangerous men alive.
Alluka Zoldyck
The youngest Zoldyck sibling who houses Nanika, a dark continent entity with reality-warping abilities. A Triple-Star Disease Hunter and Zodiac member with a Specialist ability that treats illnesses beyond normal medicine. As one of the most accomplished Hunters alive, she was elected the new Chairman of the Hunter Association. Her medical Nen and administrative genius make her indispensable.
Leorio Paradinight
An Emitter whose Warping Punch delivers Nen-enhanced strikes across any distance, bypassing conventional defenses. His spatial awareness and medical knowledge make him a unique combatant. During the Chairman Election arc, his raw potential impressed Ging Freecss, and his determination to become a doctor drives his growth.
